Aspen Valley Health is taking an important step toward expanding access to women’s healthcare across the Roaring Fork Valley with the development of a new Women’s Health Program designed to provide more integrated, patient-centered care for women at every stage of life.
The initiative reflects Aspen Valley Health’s broader commitment to delivering high-quality care close to home while addressing the evolving healthcare needs of the region’s growing and diverse population. The program aims to strengthen access to preventive care, wellness services, specialty support, and coordinated healthcare resources for women throughout the community.
Leading the effort as chairs of the newly formed Women’s Health Committee are Bryan Weingarten and his wife, Margie Weingarten, whose involvement reflects a shared commitment to advancing healthcare access and long-term community wellbeing.
“This initiative is about creating something lasting for the women and families who call this valley home,” said Bryan Weingarten. “Healthcare should feel accessible, personal, and connected to the community it serves. We are proud to help support a vision that prioritizes comprehensive care and improves access for women across every stage of life.”
The Women’s Health Program is expected to focus on a broad range of services that support prevention, wellness, education, and coordinated specialty care, while also helping reduce the need for patients to travel outside the region for certain healthcare services.
“We believe Aspen Valley Health has an opportunity to become a true regional leader in women’s healthcare,” Weingarten said. “This is about bringing together outstanding medical care with a compassionate, community-centered approach that reflects the unique needs of the Roaring Fork Valley.”
The program will also emphasize collaboration, innovation, and expanded outreach throughout the valley, helping connect more women with the care and resources they need closer to home.
Dr. Becker, CEO of Aspen Valley Health, described the initiative as part of the organization’s long-term vision to strengthen healthcare access and improve outcomes across the region. By combining local care with strategic partnerships and modern healthcare delivery models, Aspen Valley Health hopes to continue elevating the standard of care available within the community.
As planning and development continue, the Women’s Health Committee will help guide the program’s future direction and support Aspen Valley Health’s mission of delivering exceptional care for generations to come.
