Fearless Productions | Creative Leadership and Long-Term Cultural Investment

On Vision, Creative Leadership, and Enduring Cultural Investment

Bryan Weingarten’s involvement in the performing arts reflects a deep appreciation for creative excellence, disciplined judgment, and the enduring power of live storytelling. Through Fearless Productions, a theater production and investment company he co-founded with Margie Weingarten and Janet Kagan, Bryan has helped support and shape a portfolio of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions that have left a meaningful mark on contemporary theater.

Founded in 2013, Fearless Productions was established with a clear intention: to invest in ambitious, thoughtfully crafted works that balance artistic integrity with long-term cultural relevance. Bryan has played a central role in guiding this vision, bringing a steady, discerning perspective to the selection and support of projects that push creative boundaries while honoring the craft of theater.

Over the past decade, Fearless Productions has been involved in a wide range of critically acclaimed productions. Among the most notable is the revival of Pippin, which went on to win multiple Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical, Best Director, Best Leading Actress, and Best Supporting Actress. The company also supported Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, widely praised for its originality and immersive storytelling and nominated for numerous Tony Awards.

Additional productions have included the revival of Tommy, as well as Big Fish, The Anarchist, and Dead Outlaw, each representing a distinct creative vision and contributing to the richness and diversity of modern theater. These projects reflect Bryan’s ability to recognize compelling narratives and strong creative leadership across a range of styles and formats.

Most recently, Fearless Productions has been involved in the successful run of Hell’s Kitchen, featuring music by Alicia Keys. The production has earned significant recognition, including nominations for Best Musical and several additional categories, further reinforcing the company’s reputation for supporting impactful, high-caliber work.

Across all of these efforts, Bryan Weingarten’s approach has remained consistent—measured, collaborative, and deeply respectful of the creative process. His role within Fearless Productions underscores a broader philosophy that values long-term contribution over short-term recognition, and cultural stewardship over spectacle. Through his continued involvement, Bryan has helped ensure that Fearless Productions remains a thoughtful and influential presence in the world of live theater.
